Angry oil filler censor!!??

my car reads no oil pressure and i was told by the guy i bought it from that it was my oil filler censor. i personally have never heard of this part, but he assures me that this is my problem. can anyone tell me what the hell this thing is and does and where i can buy one? any help would be greatly appreciated

There is an oil level sensor in the sump, spark plug side. This won't give you 0psi oil pressure reading though.

Dont trust the stock gauge, it might be broken. If you are getting 0 reading all the time, replace the sensor - if you look down the side of the engine on the US drivers side (left side of the car standing at the back) youll see a large cylindrical thing with a wire coming off it, it should be grey in colour but this is a rubber cover - if its been removed itll be a browny goldy colour. This is your oil pressure sensor - check its plugged in and replace it if necessary.

I think I know what you meant , but usually it's the sensor/sender. The gauge is probably fine.
