Oil in the exhaust... need your opinion

Hey guys i did a search for my situation and nothing seemed to come up with what i needed for info.

Basically, i blew my turbos a while back and oil got everywhere. I remember the car being flatbedded and on the way up oil came out of the exhaust.

Since the stock for stock turbo change, alot of smoke is coming out of my exhaust. Initally i thought it was white so it thought coolant, now on closer examination it looks blue. So im thinking could the oil left over from the blown turbos, which has accumlated alot in the exhaust be causing the smoke?

Thanks for your help.

Also the smoke is insane. The car disappears at times. Even after 20k it has yet to clear up.

Do you have a catalytic converter on the car? If so, something you could try is borrowing one from someone near you to see if the smoke goes away. It's possible that the oil has pooled into the main cat which could take a while to burn off.

Thanks Mahjik

Thanks Mahjik, i don't have a cat, but i took off the muffler just to see and in all about a cup of the blackest oil came out. I dont have anyone near me so i'm thinking about just trying to clean it manually and put it back on to see if it makes a difference.

What do you think i could use to try and clear up the oil and grease? I'm thinking brake cleaner, any other ideas?

Brake or carb cleaner should do the trick.
