Oil coolers

Just wondering,
is ther any difference between the dual oil coolers on an automatic compared to a manual trans.

The automatic cars only have one oil cooler on the driver's side. The passenger side is a tranny cooler.

R1/R2 models have dual oil coolers.

Base/touring/etc. only have one oil cooler on the driver's side.
