Oil consumption wtf?

I have a half bridge, s366 turbo, id1000,id2000 injectors, OMP is deleted, I premix 1oz per gallon, I changed my oil maybe 2 months ago, but drive it daily as of recent. My odometer doesn’t work so I can’t see exact miles but it’s 8 miles from work to home, and some recreational driving. I hop in and start it, I have gauges for oil pressure fuel pressure egt and wideband, my oil pressure was LOW. (Car also doesn’t leak ) Got out and checked the dipstick after immediately turning it back off, and the oil level is barely touching the dip stick tip. Let me also add the engine was just rebuilt maybe 6k miles ago ( being very generous most likely decently less) what could cause this, I have no oil in the intercooler piping at all, but a random little bit up by the throttle body plates which also doesn’t make sense to me. I’ll do a compression test after work but I can’t help but be bummed out and wonder what the ****, I haven’t even installed my boost controller to take it off the 7psi wastegate spring pressure, the engine as of yet has not ran more than 7psi on a brand new rebuild. I’m at a loss can anyone please give some input? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you guys.

Oil consumption can be greatly affected by the quality of the rebuild and parts used. Overporting into the oil control ring path or using work rings are all relevant factors. Does the car smoke at all? Any evidence of oil in the exhaust?

It smokes on start up sometimes worse than others but seems to have improved once I installed and calibrated a new map sensor my other one was way out of wack, It smokes a tiny bit while warming up, but as soon as I get going on a street it seems to stop all together no smoke I get a little when I floor it. I just did a transmission swap out cause mine was hammered and when I pulled the exhaust I didn’t notice anything excessive granted I didn’t specifically look. Angel Motorsports back east did the rebuild, as well as the porting. I saw the port job in pictures and didn’t seem too close to anything, coolant jacket etc. it’s got 3mm goopy seals and when I bought the car shortly after the rebuild was done I have a receipt for 13k, I was always under the impression it was done right, the rotating assy was balanced, housings resurfaced etc.

I would be certain the gauge is showing you the right thing. Do you have a stock gauge or aftermarket?

Both, stock gauge on cluster and an innovate gauge as well. And the fact that the dip stick barely touched the oil concerns me, I added the last half quart of oil I had and oil pressure was fine 50 psi or so at idle cold. The consumption has me worried I’m going to top it back off and monitor it.

If it's not leaking on the ground, there's only a few places it could go. Another possibility is the turbo oil seal. You can check your compressor outlet pipe and see if it's oily. If it is, try draining your intercooler and see how much comes out. Does your turbo require an oil pressure restrictor that hasn't been installed? Another thing to look at: check your catch can and verify your PCV system is working correctly.
