oil consumption at track

Hi,

Just finished a road race event and have concerns about oil consumption. Boost is ok, running 11-6-11, will be adjusting the transition shortly but that is another matter. My concern is that the car consumes a normal amount of oil during street driving however at the track, it is rediculous. I am going through 1 liter per every 10 laps. I opened the factory BOV to atmosphere and after 5 laps the whole area was soaked in oil. The car is still on the stock twins, are the turbos done?

these are my mods.

That seems excessive, I go through about 1-1.5 qts per driving event (3 hrs of track driving).

There was thread about oil use at the track a little while ago. I think the general consensus was that during hard cornering, more oil gets pushed into the intake track somehow, and burned off. The solution seemed to be a catch can.

Lemme see if I can find that one...

thanks for the link,

does anyone have pics of a catchcan setup? and does anyone have a return from the catch can back to the pan? it is so frustrating to only be able to run 5 laps at a time knowing I have to add oil.

thanks again,
