oil

I live just north of Baltimore, Maryland and was wondering if anyone could give me some helpful tips about what kind of oil to run in the summer and winter. I am in the process of putting a remaned motor in the car now, should i run a different oil while breaking the motor in?
Thanks,
Austin

Austin,
you might want to do a search on this. There's a bazillion previous threads. Here's just one to start with
