I always liked the Mazda Speed hood as it allowed air to escape just before the engine. When you drive at speed in the rain, you can see the droplets shoot up away from the hood just behind the outlet.

Oem

I had a custom fiberglass hood that was similar but i am trying to stay oemish by just adding a cut out on the oem hood but not sure where to put the cut out. I have thought in between the two lights on the hood or a little further up. I run a vmic.

It is. All formed in metal too. I've seen it in person. If Adam would make me one, I'd gladly pay a pretty penny for it but I gather it was a TON of work.

Nice!!!!

Alright going to put the cutting of the hood on hold for now. Going to install my lrb v mount under tray first and then do some testing. The oem hood looks so damn good that i am trying to get away from cutting it. If the cooling is not sufficient then cutting the oem hood it is. I will first cut my hail damaged hood first and test the results. Thanks for all the help i will keep everyone informed with real numbers
