OEM brakes

Hi

I have a 95 rx7, and my car have very bad brakes I think!!
I have stock rotors and Hawk HP+ pads... it s still bad!!
what can I do to improve braking?? change my rotors? change my pads? what can I buy??

bleed the brakes first (with some good fluid) to see if that helps, then check to see how much pad you have left, next check if your rotors are warped, worst case get new oem rotors and pads

I agree, also what kind of tires are you using? Tires are one of the biggest factors in braking as well as accelerating

I'd say flush all the brake fluid out and replace it..

What kind of poor performance are we talking about here?

If you want to upgrade for better handling during breaking and more stopping power (which, in my opinion is a damn good thing) There are various "big brake" packages out there, such as the wildwood package from M2 found here ; look under "Brakes - Wheels" The kit is about 1495.00 if I remember correctly

the hawk HP Plus pads are very good for street use and i never see anyone complain about them. Getting upgraded stock rotors won't help braking. Bleed your brakes and see what happens. You could have some air in there.
