Octane / When to Use Race Fuel?

Pretty simple question:

At what PSI, give or take, does it become necessary to move past the 93 Octane Petrol?

Did a search, but didn't get any matches.

I would say pump gas is good up to about 15 psi on most setups. It would be smart to run race gas, if your are near or about those numbers. Water injection is also an alternative.

thanks, i figured the same.

so, around 20psi race fuel is pretty much a neccessity?

I guess it depends on the tune. I suppose I might want to check the Single Turbo Forum, since they might be better acquinted with my type of setup.
