I do recall him getting a streetport done, or did that not happen at all, Josh?

I also said it on fb, I think its something in the tune itself because you're 4th gear pull shouldn't be bouncing around like that. The gtx should produce a lot more than that at 19psi.

unfortunately the turbo is almost out of air at 19psi, the 35R is very responsive from 14-20.

Your A/F is way to rich. Especially thru the midsection. You are losing a lot of power because of that, but it should be making more than that at 19 lbs even being that rich.

Here is a graph of a standard GT35R at 16 lbs, typical bolt ons, street port.

Thanks Jason that's exactly what I was thinking, a standard gt35r making 440whp and I'm pushing 20psi on a gtx35r I should be seeing close to 500s if into and above. Tuning def seems to be part of my lack of power but like you've confirmed it's not the only problem, something must not be functioning correctly. I'm wondering if it's blocked flow somewhere in my stock throttle body/UIM/LIM, think that's a likely assumption? It's either that or some piece of the build, all being new pieces, isn't functioning properly. I'm also considering the ignition system to maybe not be functioning properly. May be time to start looking at my coils to see if they are good or maybe even this used hks twin power ignition amp I got used. The problem with doing a full build all at once is finding the problems when something isn't right, especially when shops did the build, I should've been a bit more careful in my choice of shops.

a 35R can be run up to high 20s for boost.... 19 psi isn't out of the ordinary at all. Also, it's said the billet wheel compressors are higher PR turbos so will flow better at higher boost levels (25ish +)

Strictly looking at the compressor map provided by Garrett (it's refreshing that they do this unlike many other smaller companies):

(click on 'Performance Map')
http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...uctCd=GTX3582R

The compressor is still in it's sweet spot up to approx PR of 2.75, which is ~25 psi boost.

That portwork looks pretty nice in the pics based on what I can see, but I do not like those gouges seen on both rotor housings next to and above the exhaust ports.

Yea one housing had a single small gash, the other had allot of gashes and I had that one replaced with a great condition used housing and it ported to match. I expect really to only get 3 or so years out of this engine and during that time I'll prob work on building a better engine on the side to have ready to drop in. Unfortunately the overcharging and crap work done sank me out of over 10k just in labor. Never ever use Jesse Prather Motorsports in kansas.
