...and now the starter is DEAD!

Okay, so I am doing the last-ditch 'O' ring seal fix, where you use the stuff that has to have NO anti-freeze, and I am on about my 5th flush and fill and the starter begins to BARELY want to turn the car over.
Takes forever for it to spin up to starting rpm, and was smoking like a big dog.
So I ordered a starter, should be in soon, maybe a week or so. The only good thing is that I had the undertray off to do the coolant thing, so that is one thing less to have to take off to get to the starter....

But damn....when it rains, it pours with these cars!

Did you go with a new or rebuilt starter? How much did it cost?

$165 with core exchange. Not sure if this is a re-build or new.....most likely rebuild as I am getting it from Performance Parts.
