normal for the injectors to leave o-rings in hole?
as the title states, i just pulled my injectors to inspect the o-rings and when they pulled out left the very end (maroon looking cap) and lower o-ring down in the rail... 3/4 did this... is this somewhat normal?

there should be pictures of injectors around the forum. the non metal parts that should come out from the housing connected with the injector are upper and lower O rings, and the pintle? cap at the bottom. there is a flat black rubber washer that is called an insulator that may or may not be stuck to the injector.
Do not try to move the following things under the injector which that stay in the housing: for one set of injectors, the synthetic maroon thingy are mixing plates (has about a 45 degree plate the size of a dime). On the other set, the mixing plates are black and have a horizontal screen. BOTH ARE VERY FRAGILE. Just verify that you have the plates, DO NOT POKE OR TRY TO REMOVE. I speak from experience.
If you do not have one of them, i.e. it broke, there is a method to take them out. It's been posted, it involves using a bolt.
