i know this is a very noob question, but when people say like LS1 and cym and FD, there are more i think, but what do all those stand for? ty

LS1 = V-8 piston engine

CYM = Competition Yellow Mica paint on 350 93' R-1's

FD= Model notation of a 93-02 RX-7 (V.I.N. #'s go JM1FD3xxx........)

not to mention the ls1 is the engine used in the c5 vette...so the engine is a chevy engine
