non sequential twins need advice please
Hey guys... well my motor is currently being rebuilt.. the builder gave me the option of converting my sequential twins to a non sequential setup....
im somewhat a noobie to the fd motor/turbos..
could someone kindly explain the advantages/disadvantages of converting to the non sequential???
engine mods are mild street port, k&n air filter and a 3 inch downpipe, and exhaust.

If the car was running fine sequentially leave it. Most likely the rebuilder does not want to check and double check that rats nest under the UIM. Get a silicone hose job done. The rebuilder may not like this either as the solenoids are brittle and may break.
My car is running non-seq because the rebuilder who did my car suggested the same to the previous owner. Non seq keeps the car pretty predictable in rainy weather.
d1rx7 is correct. Spend the weekend reading through the forum. I read up on my Non-seq system for months. By the way I'm going back to Sequential.
