Non-Sequential to Sequential

I have purchased a '93 which has been set up with non-sequential turbochargers. has anyone gone back from non-sequentials to sequential turbos. Since I have absolutely no original parts is this a big deala and is it worth considering?
thanks.

it depends on what type of seq setup it is...

there are a few ways to do it. i know there is an electrical method, but most people don't use that.

it could be "poor man's" or "rich man's"

if it's "poor man's", it shouldnt be too hard to go back to seq, since there isn't much done as far as modifying actual parts.

but if it's "rich man's" then that means you're going to need a new turbo manifold, Y pipe rear section, solenoids, etc. if it is rich man's, i would say you are better off leaving it as non-seq.

Man, I gotta laugh at some of the phrases used on these fd's over the years. Rich mans non seq, poor mans non seq, cheap bastard intake. I think if you were rich or poor, you wouldn't have an fd anyway.

............But if you own an fd, you're poor in the wallet department thats for sure..lol

so if i posted some photographs of my engine, the turbo area and the intake side, could you guys tell me if i were a "rich man" or a "poor man"? one thing though, if it turns out i'm a "rich man" it's important that no one tell my wife!

There a few members on here that by the mods they have done are certainly fat in the wallet. Don't forget this is an enthusiast's car. Meaning that being an owner is not is not governed by the lack of ability to purchase something more expensive.

Edit- and no I'm no where near that category. But if my stock portfolio would happen to decuple my FD would still be in the garage. Along with additional toys
