Non-Sequential questions.

I'm in the middle of the full non-sequential conversion and have a couple more questions.

First, After I'm done it looks like I will only have vacuum line excluding wastegate lines, and thats the FPR to LIM line. Am I missing something? It doesn't seem right to go from 70 odd lines to 1.

There is one vacuum line coming off of each side houseing on the passenger side top of the motor. From what I see, one nipple also has a clear hard plastic line coming out of the side of the base that runs down to the front of the motor. What is this line for and should I cap the nipples on the top?

So far I've removed the AWS, Double Throttle, Y-pipe butterfly, and whatever solinoid is on the front of the LIM. What else have I missed that I need to block off with a plate? I'm thinking maybe the Wax pellet assembly (3000rpm cold start sucks).... and what else? I seem to remember a picture with 6 block off plates. When I remove the wax pellet stuff what do I do with those coolant lines?

I have a whole lot of solinoid connections from the wiring harness just laying on the motor. What should I do with them? I'd rather not cut them, and i'm worried they may melt just sitting on the motor.

Thanks for the help. She's comin along slowly but surely

I almost forgot. I have removed the powersteering and A/c.... and now I want to remove the airpump. It looks like the belt might slip on the water pump without the airpump holding tension. Am I wrong? Or do I need to have an idler pully int he mix to keep the tension? I was going to use a plastic idler pully from an Aerostar and make a bracket... But I'd rather not if I dont' have to.

You'll need to "t" a line from the LIM to the oil jets. They have the hard lines you are referring to that run down the front of the motor. You'll need one to the wastegate, one to the BOV, and one to the FPR after that.

The oil metering jets need vacuum all the time that the motor is running. the only place to tap that ,is the air intake elbows .Not the lim sorry to say some one is wrong but you can fry your motor if you hook to the lim. The uim is under vacuum untill you boost then boost pressure will shut the jets down =fry the motor in time , not quickly but no oil is no oil.The idler pulley idea is good. Garfinkle makes an idler for that use plus he has underdrive pullies .

So I need to tap the intake pipes in front of the turbo's and run a T'd line to the jets? I'm assuming that before there were solinoids to make sure there was constant vacuum?

What about the other stuff...

Thanks for all the help.

According to Chris at RP, you can just t the OMP lines and run them to the manifold. Although he says they have just capped the nipples with no ill side effects.

Anyone have answers to the rest of my questions?

I would think that capping them would mean no oil at idle. This is probably ok if you premix... but.... I don't think I'd recommend it.
