non-sequential boost control and fuel
Okay, I'm getting more confused the more I search. Here's what I'm going to be doing soon:
Mild Street Port
Hi-Flo Cat (still haven't decided which...)
Y-Pipe
Non-sequential
Manual Boost Controller
***Already have***
Intake
Downpipe
I was starting to look into an ECU upgrade, but if I'm going non-seq, I really won't have to worry about boost spikes since there's no transition. Correct?
I was also told to upgrade my fuel pump, but now I've read several threads stating that with similar mods I shouldn't have to.
Considering the money I'll be spending, any areas I can save would be really cool, but I don't want to run the risk of blowing my motor again.
Any feedback/suggestions would be really appreciated.

what boost pressure are you seeing now?
i would get an ecu to upgrade the fuel flow if you intend to ad a high flow cat and all those other mods. And then after that you might get some boost creep. boost creep haunts you no matter if u are seq or non-seq. Boost spike is something you may not have to deal with however.
But in any case, you should be safe if you are runnign stock boost, anything more i'd recommend an aftermarket ecu. An intercooler would be a good upgrade as well.
You won't need a fuel pump unless you are over 13psi or so. i think some people have mentioned they are around 85% duty cycle with 12-13psi. I would defintely not go over 87% duty cycle on the injectors.
