I think the solenoids will post codes but not post a check engine light. Resistors avoid the codes altogether. Yes, you could leave the solenoids in there and route around them, but most people are obsessed with clearing out space in that little wedgie we call an engine bay.

ha yea, i just have mine eliminated at the moment, i'll read each ones exact resistance and get a resistor to take it's place whenever i get the time..unfortunately time and money are both very limited resources nowadays, atleast for me :-(

No. As a matter of fact you only need 7 vacume lines

Blow of valve
wastgate
brake boster
fuel pressure regulator
map sensor
boost gauge (if you have one)
egr. or what ever it is that goes to the oil filler.

If you run a after market ecu such as a power fc you can just unplug all the sensors you dont need and leave them that way or remove them from your harness like I did. It is so much cleaner this way. you could have a picnic uder my uim.

Ps. some will say you need more but the others are all up to debate and you can run them or not its up to you. Such as the oil meetering lines and the one just below the secondary fuel rail.
