Non Seq, turbo lag, probably a known fact.
Non Seq, turbo lag, probably a known fact.
I was troubleshooting the seq problems and wanted to see if both of my turbos were macking good boost. I did the non seq and my turbos are fine. I ran it like this for a week or so to see if I liked the non seq version. I liked it except the turbo lag. I have all the bolt ons except an I/C.
Well, over the weekend, I installed the Greddy FMIC. The kick is very close to seq. I can live with this. It's almost like the car is reving up much quicker. I think I will stay non seq. I will do the full conversion later.

My experience with non-sequential turned out the same as yours...very positive. After I went single turbo, the lag was similar, except that the "kick" was EXCEPTIONAL.
i went non-seq and with my pfc can't seem to control boost at all. i guess i need a profec b. and the lag sucks big time. don't get full boost till like 4500 rpm almost. maybe things will change when i get a profecb??? dp/cb/mp/apex intakes/greddy smic/fluidyne rad/ pfc at 12.0 psi and a comso pump. wish i could change back but ripped out the rat's net and broke a lot of solenoids. oh well..... can't wait to go single.
