Hey Chris and Ryan. As you both know I have no Midpipe. Am I still eligible for this mod? Ryan makes it sound so badass It makes me anxious to get my car back to go non sequential. Ryan get off the damn computer and lets go to the Track!!!

Dave,

Found something for you
Some say there will be excessive turbo lag with a NS system...Is this true?
-If the exhaust is otherwise bone stock, then yes there will be considerable turbo lag.
-If the main cat is in place and the pre-cat is replaced with a downpipe, and the engine is *mildly* street ported, stock IC (or upgraded IC) and upgraded intake, stock cat back (or upgraded), the lag will not be a major concern except for the hard core Auto-X racer (who should have a fully open exhaust at this point anyway)
-With a fully open exhaust it is not a concern.
-With a fully open exhaust and an upgraded intake and IC it is even less of a concern than above.

Just want to note, the PFC NON SEQ mode does not run the turbos in parallel, rather the second turbo simply never comes online.

Thumbs up

i was going to try and switch mine by myself by using directions on different websites and forum talk.

i'm so lazy i never went forth with it.. after reading you have to take apart the passenger panels and do something with some sort'a rod.. or i dunno.. maybe on one long summer day i'll get down to it again.

glad your's worked okay.. i'm always fearing i'll break something if i tinker with my car.

got any hints for the 30 minute mod? where did you get your directions?
