Unhappy no start after the engine flooded

hi people, well I'll start by explaining what happened, got up in the morning, started car no problems, car warmed up and went to work, got to work shut down car, 4 hrs later went to start car ... crank but no start, tried again but no start. left car at work, came next day and tried to start again but same results , then at lunch time went to where the car was and found a leak from where the cat and the muffler pipe meet, aha! car is flooded, tried the whole deflooding steps , but found out that an injector was stuck open. so i order a new set of sard 850s ( im running 4 850s btw) i installed them, new plugs but the car now wont start again i got spark , pulled a plug and saw the spark car tried to start for a second but no luck, can anybody piont me in the right direction?

There are various levels of deflooding procedures (search), but the first thing to try is to fully press the accelerator (shuts off fuel flow), and then crank and see if that works.

As Dave said, search for the many proven methods of de-flooding a rotary.
You say you "tried the whole deflooding steps", please tell us what you did.
Personally, I have had 100% success by simply:
Key off, push accelerator to the floor.
Crank for 15 - 30 seconds
Stop cranking
Take foot off accelerator
Crank again for 15 seconds.
Repeat as required.

Some people take out the fuel pump fuse. Some people have had to go the route of squirting automatic transmission fluid into the spark plug holes. There are dozens of 'proven' methods.

Good luck.

Assuming it really is flooded... the easiest way to clear a flood is to push the car and pop the clutch just like if you had a dead battery. That will build compression very fast and clear the flood. I've probably cleared 100 floods in my day, trust me on this.

I usually pull the EGI relay and turn the motor over for a minute or two. That usually clears it up enough to get spark.

will any of the seals go bad if fuel stayed in the engine for too long, 2 days...because the engine was full of fuel (1.3L ) when i unbolted the catalytic converter fuel just kept coming out of it. ill go buy a compression gauge today and see if i got ok compression.

No, but you should use some ATF or oil to help build some compression with the engine since you've basically just washed away all the lubrication. This what I recommend for flooded engines:

Try pull starting it, have the car pulling you around 5-10 mph while you are in first gear. That will deflood it very quickly without putting strain on your starting system.

Something to get used to.........

These cars are known for flooding as I'm sure you already know (or are going to find out). A stuck open injector is probably one of the worst causes and it can basically fill up everything with gas. I had a secondary injector stick open on me before while driving down the road, just shut the car off like I had turned the key off. To give an example of how much the engine can fill up w/gas when I took my Greedy intake elbow off I opened up the TB butterflies and about a 1/2 pint of gas ran out. Get all the gas out of the engine best you can (make take a while), and if the car wont start up pretty easy then I would pull start it. Dont forget to change oil and filter. I have learned to kind of treat this car like a 2 stroke motorcyle if you know what I mean. Good luck and remember that these problems are really part of the fun (learning process) of owning on of these cars. I will never get rid of mine.
