no response on the injectors.

Hello.
i had my FD to the tuner yesterday and alot of problems showed up. most of them are fixed but the biggest is that when they are trying to map the car he said he didnt get any response from the injectors. the injector setup is 850 secondaries on the primary and 1680 on the secondary. the car is running way to rich and even if he said to remove 40% fuel it was no difference. so what can the problem be? starting to feel a little panic becous its only 25 days until im taking my dragracing licence and have to have the car ready for that.

thanks

When you apply 12v directly across the injectors, do they click? (You can do this between the main relay and ECU harness connector)

This happened to me before, and I spent $2k at the shop changing EVERY damned thing out.

Turns out the PFC was bad. Try swapping with the shop car's PFC, or another customer's. I bet you your PFC is bad.

The wierd thing is that the PFC worked last season with the stock injectors. all i changed was the fuel rail, fuel pump, FPR and injectors. and did a simplified seqvential setup on the hosejob.

Try swapping the PFC out with someone else's and post back if it resolved your situation. FYI, I changed injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, resoldered injector wiring. FPR and fuel rail weren't changed, thankfully, or I would have been out 3k. Incompetent shop giving bad diagnoses and making me pay for their experimentation.

Check your lag settings. If your injectors are firing, it's not the drivers of the PFC. Are these stock 850s?

This is the same identical thing that happened to me. Though I went from resistors to an FJO box. The lag settings needed to be adjusted to be able to correctly pull fuel. Once done, the thing responded beautifully. PM me and I can give you my lag settings as a reference.

the injectors is 850cc stock on the primary rail and bosch 1680cc 5ohm with 3.3ohm resistors.

Are you running the pfc and a datalogit? And does you're tuner have experience with the datalogit and/or pfc? What map sensor are you using? Stock or 3 bar?

Have him run a map watch to see what the primaries are doing and then run a map watch to see what the secondaries are doing...

I have the exact same problem as the poster. I will try and run without resistors to see if they fire. i just need to know where the adjustment is

Or can i ask what changes i need to make here in settings 5

Hi guys car is running much better now, i have a map, a datalogit, a wideband and the map on but no laptop yet. car runs great to 40% cycle duty, but my resistors stop the secondaries working so im going lean in that transition area.

The map i have did not have resisitors and it look sliek this, i know i need to change it, but what kind of adjustments should i make, bearing in mind, i have 12 ohm 12 watt resistors.?

front pri 100 000
front sec 000 .25
rear pri 100 000
rear sec 000 .25

pri/sec transition 35%
sec transition (m/sec)0.500

q primary 550
q sec 1680

remember this map ran no resistors, now its got some beefy ones
