There were some 7's that didnt have pills. Instead the nipple that the hose attaches to is smaller to make up for no pill. That sucks if you got one of those cause those are harder to control since you can swap the pill or remove it, ect.

Did you stick something all the way thru the hose to make sure? They are hard to see in there.

Most of the 94 and up turbos have them built into the primary compressor housing nipples.

stock ecu? if so then don't install that mp. You will have boost spikes like crazy, most likely blow your motor if you are not careful. Be safe and get a new ecu before upgrading to the mp. If you already have the ecu then just make a 'home depot' boost controller to keep boost down. My friend has one and it works great!

Well, mine came with pills and its a 95. I THINK it was only a certain run of 94's that had the built into the nipple deal.

Some people drill them out. A home depot boost controller will not work in your case. As the restriction in the hose goes up the boost goes up. You cannot lower the restriction with a home depot boost controller.

well, first check to see if you have the closed nipple. You could also run a longer larger line for the wastegate. This could help to lower boost.

whats a closed nipple? how would a longer line help? and the line is large enouf, its the same in diameter as the nipple itslef so that wont help.

a longer or a bigger hose helps because it offers less resistance for air to move. Kind of the same theory to having a longer exhaust pipe or bigger exhaust pipe. Imagine if you ran that line something like 10 feet instead of the 5" it is stock, you'll see that you'll have different boost chacteristics.

Another approach would be to install restrictors on the other side of the actuators (solenoid side), right below the solenoids. Mind you that when you do this, the relationship between pill size and boost will be the REVERSE of that it would be if you did it on the inlet side. Whether this approach has a negative effect on response time, maybe somebody can chime in...
