I went to the parts store today to get some fresh plugs and their computer told them NGK was out of stock so they couldn't order any and neither would anyone else. Is this real> I assume that NGK needs to run a a new batch or something? Anyone heard of this before or was the parts store talking out of the back side?

went to my local parts store and they stock 16 7s and 16 9s at all time. No shortage here.

 

We keep cases of them in stock. Not to worry they are not being discontinued and they are still available.

 

I can still get OEM plugs from the dealer that I work out for my 88. lol

 

bought a new set this week

 

bought the entire supply in my town a few weeks back. A total of ten from 3 different stores.

 

Oh yeah I am an idiot... I should have thought of the Tsunami.. especially considering I work for a japanese OEM... guess brain wasnt on the other day. Thanks for the responses...
