Question No fuel pressure, electrical prob

Was curious if anyone has run into this before. Over the weekend I installed the KG 1680 fuel rail kit. That required putting on all the blockoff plates. After buttoning everything back up, started the car, it ran fine for about 10 minutes, ultimlately turned it back off to take off the ISC due to idle issues. Put everything back together again, and now no fuel pressure. Determined that the fuses and relays are fine, and the pump still works. In looking at the wiring diagram, it appears that the ECU sends a signal to the circuit relay, which sends a signal to the fuel pump relay, which then starts the pump. So I switched out the ECU also, but that had no effect.

So it seems it's down to either being a wire or possibly the ignition switch? I'm not even sure how to check the wire to the ECU. Anyone know which one that is on the ECU? Any ideas much appreciated.......

A friend of mine had this same problem with his 7. We found out that the ECU was not grounded. Once we grounded the ECU the probelm was fixed.

so if the pump has power and ground but no pressure, check for fuel pressure before the filter. if the pump is getting power and ground it may have failed. ps the fp relay only controlls pump speed. how did you determine the pump was working?

Sorry, I wasn't clear about that. Determined that the pump worked fine by splicing in a wire from battery to before the fuel pump resistor. That gave me fuel pressure, and allowed me to limp home.

I also neglected to mention that I put a jumper in the diagnostic port to run the pump full speed, and it still doesn't run. So it seems like that rules out anything on the ignition or ECU side...
