No flow to radiator?

I just installed a Koyo and warmed up the car idling. My temps started getting fairly high so I shut down the car, I went over and felt the radiator and it was cool to the touch, than I felt the coolant filler neck and it was scolding hot! I also had the "Add Coolant" light on. Should I just keep pouring coolant into the overflow tank, I've only put in maybe a gallons worth and I know it should take atleast two? I know this must be something really obvious....

Removed that line ages ago....not sure how easy it would be to get to now but I'll try to take a look! So I'm guessing I just have air in my system and need to wait for it to cool to add more coolant? I just thought it was wierd the radiator was absolutely COLD!

Keep filling the system. Every now and then as you pour some into the filler neck, squeeze the lower radiator hose. That will help push out the air bubbles.

Once the fluid will no longer go down in the filler neck, start the car and turn the heater on full. Let the car run for a few minutes. If the temps don't climb too high (i.e. going over 220F), then you should be fine. Just check the filler neck level again after the car cools down and repeat the above steps if you need to add more coolant/water.

Just had to let it cool down and refill it, sorry guys been putting long hours into this thing.....Thanks for the help.

Incase anyone cares, I let my car idle in my garage for a WHILE. It got up to 77C and just sat there, no fans kicking in or anything, AMAZING! The hot side of the radiator was to hot to touch, but the cold side was maybe luke warm, very pleased with this rad even after the fitment nightmeres with the PFS SMIC.
