No boost on primary turbo

Guys,

Please hold back on the flammage. I've searched and read but can't seem to find an identical problem.

I'm posting this for a friend of mine whose Gen 3 was running fine until two weeks ago. He did some upper IM work and now he gets just a minor blip on his primary turbo but his secondary comes on like gangbusters and builds boost just fine. I haven't inspected his car yet to see if he has a vaccum line misplaced. Anything I should look for first when we get together? I know that his silicon couplings are fairly new, so I doubt that it's a boost leak. Has to be something hooked up improperly or just a line crossed somewhere.

Please advise... and thanks in advance!

Doesn't make sense - you need the primary working to develop pressure to switch over to the secondary. Something is REAL goofy.

But, probably some simple vacuum line goofiness, especially if it happened after pulling the intake manifold. Get the colored vacuum hose diagram and check everything out - that diagram makes it a cinch to figure out where things go.
