where to buy '99 JSpec rims?

Only place I can find them is with JT-Imports but the owner has/will be closing the shop. Anywhere else online that sells these rims and/or JDM RX7 goodies?

Awesome. Please do let me know. Do you know the condition and why he is selling? Thanks, GoodFellaFD3S.

Sorry to hear JT is closing. When I bought my set one of the places I looked at was corksport.

Keep in mind Corksport is notorious for ridiculous price markups on certain parts... Other parts they're great. It's hit or miss really...

hmm...I just visited their site and didn't see the '99 rims. I only saw the MazdaSpeed rims? Anyone else know where the '99 rims can be purchased...preferrably within USA? Aside from JT Import used to offering free shipping...I can't imagine paying shipping for oversea retailers. =/ That'd be great if there was another JDM RX7 parts supplier online.

Aside from that, I wish JT Imports the best of luck in the future.

Corksport is great IMO. Their price on a 99spec lip is absolutely comparable to other leading vendors and their shipping time is awesome when they are in stock. However, before ordering, call them up to find out if they have what you're looking for. If they say they have to order it, move on.

try to find a japanese resident (not me, sorry) who is willing to do the dirty work on yahoo auctions for you - they are for sale all the time

shipping is the problem - will probably cost you more than the rims (freight prices from japan are criminal)

I can say the same about Rotary Performance, which was the first suggestion. Both shops are a bit high on the price meter.

Remember that not all products offered are on a vendor's website. If they offer the lip they can probably get the wheels. FWIW Corksport's price on the wheels was under 1700 when I talked to them. That was a few years ago though.

I was in no way asserting RP was better. In fact, I've never used 'em before, and don't know anything about them either (other than Rich sweats 'em )

I never ordered from RP either - I just gave the link because I've been to their site a bunch of times to compare prices, etc.

They are the only shop I personally have seen (online) that offers the whole '99 spec package (with wheels).

Good luck.

They also had the 16" rims (1998-2000)

You guys should look into the 17" rims thats off off 1996-1998 rx7. They look better.
