Nitrous Express Kit!

What does everyone think of the idea of throwing a
50 shot to a 3rd gen, just to get out the hole?

Spec:
-Greddy T88 Single Turbo 25psi
-850cc Primary 1700cc Secondary
-SX Regualator
-Greddy 3row FMIC

Lots more ask if it helps with the desicion(sp?).

With all my mods it should be able to hold it if i tune the
car for a 50shot right?

If yes should i go WET or DRY?

IMO, if you are really serious about it, call Rotary Performance and talk to them about it:

Get two big bottle of NAWSSS man!
I would use the wet stuff myself, you also have the option of using anti-lag if your ecu supports it.

You would be wise to use race gas if you want to use anti-lag.

Anit-lag is a way for you to build boost while you are in neutral or you have the clutch in so yes it is a means to get away from boost lag caused by running a big turbo without having to resort to N2O. And yes I have ridden in a car that has this system programmed in it and it is cool as hell when you hold the clutch in and turn the anti-lag system on and watch the boost gauge run up to 20psi and then drop the clutch and your off with 20psi already on line. But this takes a very experienced tuner to tune this system and like a told you earlier you would be wise to use race gas. If you need any other info just pm me.

Later.

Sounds pretty insane if you ask me.....If im not mistaken, a lot of the rally cars in WRC use this system as well.

not a good example

that guy is an idiot. Nitrous should never be in the car unless you are going to use it. Turn the damn heater off and never modify the blow off cap unless you have the appropriate blow down tube assembly. I've been using nitrous for years on my monte carlo and have buddies who have been using it since the 80's. Nitrous when used properly, no matter the brand of the system, is a good thing. On a turbo or Centrifugal supercharged car with lag issues a small 35hp shot can build boost earlier, drastically cool the intake tempertures and add *** much as 50-75hp safely with no worries. I have had conversations with Mike Nelson of NOS on this very subject he is the absolute nitrous oxide guru, he says its safe and I believe him.
