I'd say that's a pretty good price as long as the engine is in good shape, which it sounds like it is.

That's a fair price. Don't low-ball him if you are going to make an offer, because I doubt he will take anything less than 12K for it.

I dont have the money right now, If I did I would nab that **** up soooooooo fast... even though its 913 miles from me, I'd hop in the car with dad and say "road trip!"

then it would sit in the garage till I was 16. lol.

I just picked up a black '93 for $5500 two days ago. The engine is in good condition, just needs a tune up. It even came w/ an HKS intake

Everday for about 2-3 weeks i read the classified's and it just showed up, so I went and test drove and game a deposit right away. Picked it up the next day. All it needs is a tune-up and an oil change.

Where? In Florida? Also if you don't mind could you keep an eye on one for me in that price range? There are only a 5-6 FD's within 60 miles of me and I haven't seen one in the local ads. Good pick up BTW.

There's always good deals (very cheap FDs for sale), you just need to know how to find them at the right time with some luck.

"Clean and well maintained by professional mechanics, records available. Garaged and only driven by adults. Extremely reliable, never raced or crashed."

If its really that good then that is an awesome deal!

Luck is definitely a big factor... I got my black '93 R1, with 79K, new turbos, new Pirelli P8000's all around, 1 year left on extended warranty, garaged day and night, immaculate for $7,500... been waiting over a year to buy it from the prior owner... it pays to be patient
