Some driving instruction can't hurt either.. Although whether or not driver capability was at fault here I don't know..
Too bad, car looked nice.

Whats so nice about that FD ?
Its got ricer wing, too big rims, oem sideskrits and its too low. Its a friggin show car and doesnt belong to the track.
Dont let that put anyone off to track their car once in a while. Its a blast and you decide your pace. Just leave your ego home.

I have heard of some tracks that pretty much let anything go. However, in a car like the one in this thread, my money is on "the nut behind the wheel" for placing blame.

Lets think about this really hard, what's better:
1. A wrecked FD just off the track.
2. A nice FD in the garage.
Maybe I should start a poll

Oops sorry about the link thanks for correcting me Compilez.
If you take another look at the photo of the car on the trailer and the photo of it undamaged, you'll notice that the wheels are not the same. I don't think anyone in there right mind would track a FD with 20"s on it.

Do you realize how boring the forum would be if we followed your advice

Accidents happen to the best of us. As someone stated earlier don't track a car you can't afford to wreck. I've been tracking my FD for a few years now and consider myself a fairly good driver. However, at my last track day I did go off track and managed to put a couple very minor dents in the car (purely cosmetic - I got lucky).
My FD is a street / track vehicle. If may get wrecked someday. I'm willing accept that risk becaue tracking an FD in an incredibly satisfying experience.

I agree, I started a post in here a while back regarding stock lines and whether they were good enough. It was suprising to see the amount of FD owners that preferred stock lines to a dirty *** body kit ( think Veilside!!).
I dont mind bodykits but I think they need to subtle to work properly.
I would personally hate having my FD turn heads because of its body kit.
