Ni primary boost, deep exhaust note ?
I had this problem come up last night when I was driving around with my friend. Yesterday I checked all the hoses to see if any came off, none.
Today I decided to go under the car, after reading here on problems with similar simptoms that pointed into the direction of sticking Turbo Precontrol Actuator. Surely, just as I lay under the car, I immediately saw disconnected rod. Looks like the pin is missing and the rod came off.
Oddly, I cannot put it back on from working with the car lifted just on one side, so I will have to get it on a real lift.
What could be the problem that I cannot allign the rod and that little **** back into their position ? Can I somehow make the rod move ? It will probably be clear once I get the car up, but I'd like to tell my mechanic what to do. I dont want him to mess up something.

The small e-clip must have come off. The 'pin' section should definitely still be there, as it is part of the arm and can't come off. just manipulate the actuator, and pull it towards the rear of the car so that you can force the the pin through the hole. you shouldnt need a mechanic or a lift

I just found this pic on the board. It shows exactly the same situation that I have:
Looking at it, I think its the wastegate control. No wonder boost was crappy and the old lady didnt move like it should
Can the rod be pulled out a bit by mechanical force, or must I disconnect some hose so it will let go ?

wrap a length of the rod in a rag and use some vice grips to pull it back if you can't get it by hand. shouldnt be too difficult. the tough part is getting an e-clip, seeing as how you're in slovenia

Could be, but I dont think Ray takes PayPal
And wiring $5 would cost $25 for commission if going via wire transfer.... crap.
A wire will have to do. At the end of the day, one can still drill a bigger hole through the pin
Is there not a hole through the pin but just a groove ?
