Newbie, needs help

Just picked up a 93 touring, has a blown tranny, My problem is as im pulling off the tranny i cant seperate it from the engine, I can see the flywheel and half of the torque converter, but i cant seem to seperate it all the way
Am i missing a step>??

..Any suggestions would be great, thanks

Is this on a 5 speed or an automatic? You mention "torque converter" implying that it's an auto... in which case, I have no clue... if it's a 5 speed, you need to release the pull-type clutch from the pressure plate first.

Brian,

Hey since I've got OS Giken clutch set that turns the pull type clutch into a push type clutch(so I have NO experience with pull type clutches)....How do you separate a pull type clutch from the PP?
