Newbie

Greetings all, I'm a new guy here currently deployed in Iraq. My wife just bought me a White FD 94 touring, I have High res pics and its beautiful inside and out with no flaws that stand out. The motor and turbos are stock with 57.3k on them. All reliabililty mods have been done. I plan on getting a rebuild when I get back. I'm planning on going through Rotorsports Racing in NC since Im stationed in Jacksonville. I have a question. Where can I get low compression rotors and what are the benefits of having them. Ive read the stickies and newbie questions, I've actually been reading from the forum for a few years just finally got my FD. Oh yeah computer access and functions are limited out here and the search doesnt seem to work that good I keep getting an error everytime I type in low compression rotors. I'd appreciate the help, and welcome all knowledge and wisdom that you guys and gals have to offer. Thanks

Semper Fi

Best of luck out there, I was out in Baghdad for six months in 2003 as the S4 Logistics Officer for a Signal BN.

I wouldnt rush into a rebuild. With that kind of mileage the motor can last many more years.....trust me, you will have plenty of opportunities to throw cash into your FD

hehe. He's right. It's low mileage, prob running fine. Leave it as is. On the FD, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, cuz you'll def. have a lot more other things to fix in the meantime

Cool, sounds good thanks for the advice. I'll take your word for it and just keep a stash for a rainy day.

damn your lucky, your wifey bought you an fd!? I wish my ex did the same thing instead of taking my money. Rich is right, save your money and savor all the miles you can squeeze into em 13bRews. I got my car last year and I threw in 6G so far and thats without a motor.
