I know I posted awhile back that im not getting one but I calculated everything (budget) and yeah IM STILL IN THE MARKET and looking for a 3rd Gen. But I have a q. Would a Rebuilt street port and polished 3mm apex seal engine, remapped/rebuilt twin turbos by Majestic, Pettit Racing computer with rev limiter & fuel curve, custom Spearco engine bay intercooler, Greddy polished intake elbow, Pettit Racing twin intake system, Rotary performance main drive power pulley, Mid-pipe and down pipe. 5zigen exhaust muffler, intank 250lph walboro fuel pump, Greddy blow-off valve, Blitz boost control low 10psi-high 14.5psi, Crane Hi-6 ignition w/ 2 LX91 leading coils and 10mm Magnacore wires be worth 15500 on a 10 yr old car? Would it be possible to lower it down to 13k? Reason being is that the car is not even street legal in cali. Another question to the Rotary Gurus.

legit in cali, I don't know about that....from what I understand stock 7's have a hard time in cali, let alone a car with a downpipe and midpipe. On the price it all depends on how well the car has been taken care of. If it someone who babies the car and drives it on the weekend, I can see it being worth close to 16k, but if it is a gutted autox car that is close to dying, then maybe not.

nope... i'd say buy an FD for 10k, get a 300whp kit from rx7store.com for 3k, susp. for 1k, and driving school... it'll be better off and save extra money... i'd say don't do it b/c the whole street legal thing is wierd... most cars you'll find are not street legal... even mine has an "illegially modified exhaust system" = dp
