New Wiring Harness coming in, a few questions.

So i decided to bite the bullet and buy a new engine wiring harness because im sick of all the problems my original dried up and crispy one is giving me. Anyways im recently went single turbo and i dont need all the emissions connectors on the harness. I really dont want to open the harness up and de-pin it and remove all the wires. Would there be anything wrong with taking just the connectors off and heat shrinking the wires then tape them back to the harness?

Just neatly fold them back with the connectors still attached and tape them out of the way back behind the UIM/LIm area. It takes a little effort but you can make it look nice and clean without hacking up the harness.

Sounds resonable; Mazda connecors are easy to de-pin with the right tools and if you label each group under the heat shrink wrap you can always put conectors back in place if required at a later date.

yeah thats what i was thinking. i think if you just tape the connectors down it will look really bulky. Anyone else have any experience in doing it this way.
