Nice set up. What intercooler and wastegate are you going to use? Also how are the downpipes and exhaust going to be set up?

+2. Did you pull the motor back out before sending it to the painter? I want to paint my engine bay but I don't feel like removing all the stuff around the engine, my motor is not in the car.

The only right way is to yank it all out. Dont cut yourself short. It is only a few hours more of R/R.

Thanks Howard. I have to make myself i nice warm coco, sit down and study that post of yours. Look’s like a lot to take in

The turbo we chose are over kill but they are the smallest t04s antisurge available by Masterpower. Still there is enough turbo flow to out perform a large trim gt45.

I hope we haven’t got greedy on the eye candy to sacrifice the performance.... but they will be quickly swapped for smaller units if that’s the case.

we leaving the intercooler size in the hands of some expert race car fabricators, They are doing a sponership deal,

When we made the mainofld we allowed plenty of room for 2.5" dumpipes, i guess they well merge just before the diff into single 3" or 4"

just curious...if you want max response, why did you go with a full bridge on the motor? and not a half bridge? or are you just relying on the turbos for max response and max power with the ports???? sort of best of both worlds?

Ive never tried half bridge.... ive always thought half bridge was 'half arsed'.

When i compare the full bridge to a large stg2 or stock port... The full bridge drives the turbos faster earlier in the rev range. so its definitly better, but i couldnt compare with half bridge sorry, I assume its better than the half bridge for responce.

we are relying on the porting for responce and the turbo compressor flow for hp. but with smaller turbos it should be more responcive, I dont think we will ever run the boost required to max the compressor flow of these turbos, So in that sence there way to big, but f#ck it... they look good!

Keep us posted, I am currently having a twin turbo kit made too. I bought two t3/to4e's from XS-Engineering. Still debating on ECU but I am leaning towards Motec M800. I am trying to figure out if I want to have both downpipes merging into one or having two downpipes going straight through to one exhaust muffler on each side which hasn't been done yet, at least I don't think so.

No, I plan on using one large HKS GT wastegate, possibly a 50mm. At first I was planning on using 2 Tial 46mm wategates but I think 1 HKS GT is enough.
