I just got my stock turbos rebuilt by BNR (stage I). My question is should they smoke ? I am getting quite a bit of black smoke out the exhaust after the turbos spool up. If this is normal how long should it last. I am getting plenty of boost.

i got a newly rebult stock turbo. i was told it would smoke for a bit. has to do with burning off flux residue.

 

what ECU are you running?

 

Black smoke? While on boost? Sounds like you are running rich my friend.
