New suggestion on new clutch!

I am in the market for a new clutch. Can you guys recommend me some good stuff? My friend tells me to go with HKS twin disk, but it's sooo expensive. How about ACT street? Please help me, thanks

ACT street/strip is great, I can tell you from experience that i really enjoy the feel and it takes its share of abuse.

I have heard really good things about the ACT clutch. I plan on getting one soon. You should consider getting a light flywheel when you do the clutch.

about the flywheel, if your car is going to be street-driven, don't get the alluminum one. go with the light-weight steel one, its a good compromise between quicker acceleration and higher revs to get it in motion.

Why do you say that? I've had my ACT clutch and 9.5 pound aluminum flywheel for over 43,000 miles and absolutely *love* it. Street, drag strip, road course.....the combo kicks *** with absolutely no drawbacks to speak of. I'm making some pretty healthy power and the clutch is holding up fine. The flywheel is a must-buy along with the clutch; totally transforms the rex. Revs fly by in first and second gear, a very noticeable performance mod.

Damn, I wish the previous owner of my car thought of changing the flywheel when he got the ACT clutch
Then again, he DID pay $650 for a Greddy P.E. exhaust

Thanks for the all the inputs. I really appreciate.
What's a good flywheel to go with the ACT?
HKS twin plate kit already comes with a flywheel...
