I can certainly sense alot of tension coming from this board. hey maybe I started off on the wrong foot if I offended any of you by stating this compromise between sports cars a downgrade, I'm sorry.

Alot of the stuff that was previously stated was certainly uncalled for and I didn't deserve half of it but you know thanks for your time and I'm glad you guys can help a newbie out. The only reason I state it as a downgrade was because of the price difference from 30K to 15K.

And you know what BPU is a good term for upgrades it beats saying yea I got UR Pulleys, APEXi intake, RMM Downpipe, HKS Ti Exhaust, HKS Type R FMIC etc. But anyways though can anyone actually help me out?

 

Why is everyone in the world so bent over supras?
It just Supra this, Supra that. Supras can lick my nuts.

Now don't get me wrong, I like supras and all, but damn some people just need to lay off. Supra tuning is just add fuel and air and go. RX-7 tuning is more of an art that takes alot more time and patience.

 

Hey sorry for offending you just because my family takes a different approach at awarding my 4.2 GPA and getting a 30K scholarship with buying me a Supra and not patting my back or something. Yes it was a MKIV it was a 94 TT Black 6-speed BPU++ about 450HP (considering cars with similar mods are around the same HP) I think i'm just gonna get an SC300 and Stuff a 2jz in there. But if i get a RX7 I'd still appreciate some of your help without the immaturity please.

 

Your initial post is very broad. It would take several pages of writing to educate you fully on what you want to know. I suggest narrowing the topic of your questions so that people will be more inclined to answer. Ill take a stab at your last question, the rx7 as a daily driver. If you find one in good running condition and you maintain it well, I dont see a reason why it cant serve as a daily driver assuming youre not going to race it every single time you get behind the wheel or place strange demands on it, like intermittent 1 mile trips. Some would argue this point but it is a car and meant to be driven. Use common sense and it will be fine. Thats my opinion on that.

 

RX7. **** all you gay RX-7 owners that chose to be immature in my thread because now I've decided on a totally different car although none of you probably care. All of you guys can now see the taillights of my new SC300. Because in two weeks I'll have my 2jz-gte in and I'll start RX-7 huntin haha see ya losers. And by the way half of the people on this board dont know **** about cars when you read through their post lol. whoever said egt's were worthless. no wonder these cars blow up so much look at the owners.

 

I'm sure you've seen what happens when 2 11 second RX-7s get the lead and clint pohlers SC300 plays catch-up haha

 

the FD might be 15k now, but I think they were roughly the same price as the Supra when new. and the price diff can be explained by all that unnecessary crap they put on the supra which makes it not a "true" sports car :P:

Well good for you, go ahead and put a 2JZ in a SC300. Hope you have alot of money. Or better yet, why not just drop a 20B in that thing since you seem to know so much about rotary engines And I'm pretty sure it was you that posted EGT gauge were worthless in another thread just a minute ago. And thought maybe he does know a little, but guess not.

i wish i got 30k BPU supras for getting good grades....i get a thumbs up and "good job" from my family, thats about it

 

eh the only reason for the price diff is cause people are scared of FD motors. they were in the same ballpark when new. i'd call going from a supra to an FD an upgrade..

 

My mistake then. Kiflin said "the rotary" is reliable in the right hands, and I took that to be the concept of the engine, not one particular setup, my bad!

As for the 13B-REW, I think i proved how unreliable they can be in the wrong hands.... like uhhh... mine. (check sig)
