Talking New to the site lots of questions

i just bought a 93 r1 rx7. Its so sweet and really quick.
My first question is does the rx7 have sequential turbos. Do the Nissan 300zxTT, 3000gt vr4 or Supra TT also have this and whats the advantage and disadvantage of this. Second can anyone show me a pic of there dashboard with white face gauges and show me a pic of it at night also thanxs

Post of the week candidate!

Shabib, read through the newbie stickie at the top of the page. Read through Rob Robinette's site, scuderiaciriani's site, and a few others.

FORGET about the white faced gauges for right now as you have a lot to learn. You will be spending money on other much more important things long before you should start thinking about changing the stock gauges.

wow...bought a car not researching anything about the make/model go figure. You need to list if your car is stock or what mods you have as well.

Man you guys are so mean . I disown you all . Don't worry about it newb. Some of these are just very protective about their cars and for good reason too. It's not like there are an infinite number of them on the road still. It's a pride thing. Just watch what you say on boards dedicated to a car that many adore. With that said and out of the way, just use the stickies, that what they are there for.

Basically, what everyone is telling you is that you first have to "SEARCH" this forum. That will tell you everything you need in regards to maintaining your RX-7.

If you don't do this, you may not have enough money to spend towards purchasing "white face gauges". (We're not joking).

Don't take our seeming "smartass" answers the wrong way. Your questions come up ALL the time. That's all. I'm sure you missed the "Newbies" Sticky. Please read that and you will have some really good answers to your questions.

Hey Shabib67,

Don't worry about all of the bashing ... the people on this forum aren't all that bad, you just need to demonstrate some self reliance. I got a "read the stickies" reply to my first post as well.

I’ll indulge you a bit and maybe it will start a string of non-bash posts.

The RX7 does have sequential turbos. The other cars you mentioned have either dual (parallel) turbos or a single turbo … as far as I know. The benefit is that turbo lag is close to eliminated. I.E. the car is much more drivable around town. I can’t say this with authority as I haven’t driven other turbo charged cars … I just remember drooling over the RX7 in Car and Driver articles back in 93.
