New To Rx-7.(actually all cars)

I just inherited a 1993 turbo Rx-7 From my uncle. It is my first car. I am pretty used to the car and its handling. I would like some mods for handling and maybe a new clutch flywheel combo. I would like to upgrade the turbo. And get a nice ferarai sounding exaust. What would you reccomend for me to do to it. I have moderate mechanichal skills. And is upgrading turbo hard? What mods would You reccomend.

Spend at least a couple of days reading old posts.

It's like getting a Master's degree in rotaries.

Oh, and easy on the throttle - you essentially have a race car that has been modified for the street. Take a high speed driving class like Bondurant with your Dad - worth every nickle and seriously fun.

Read these two websites:

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/index.html

Very good information. How did you get you uncle's car? I hope nothing bad happened to him.

Start saving up some cash for the repairs & mods for that RX7...

Good Luck with it. READ EVERYTHING ABOUT the 3rd Gen RX7 before going near it. It's pretty different from a "normal" car. Oh yea, think engine rebuilds later on.
