Filter stock blow-off/CRV or not?
I'd like some opinions regarding the stock by-pass valve and CRV....
I've had an N-Tech intake on the car for over 4 years now. I've always let the bypass and CRV vent into the engine compartment behind the heat shield for the intake. I've heard different opinions over the years on whether or not to put a breather-type filter in the hoses in front of the of the respective valves -some say no filter allows the valves to suck debris back into the system, some say not....what do you guys think?
My reason for asking after all this time is that I've put a y-pipe on and now that I've got all my intake apart I'm considering getting some small K&N breather filters for the valves.
Thanks!

The charge relief valve is supposed to bleed secondary turbo boost back into the secondary turbo intake NOT out in to the atmosphere in the engine bay. This feedback loop is what keeps the secondary turbo pre-spooled until the switchover @4500 rpm. It's a good idea to put a K&N on the air bypass valve to keep oil from spewing everywhere.
