Before the flamage begins, I would strongly suggest that you read the newb stickie at the top of the forum and follow the links listed to learn more about your car.

i've already been flamed for buying the car, i love it, rhd is more comfortable to drive, an im not going to go through a drive through with it, this is my fun car not a daily driver before anyone says have fun passing or going through a drive thru again. I'm sure most of you didn't know anything about RX7's either until you owned one. Forums are for other owners to help each other but as I saw in my previous threads there is a lot of hating and cockyness here. I hate big forums where everyone hates the new guys. We were all there at one time in our life, so suck it up, either help or don't post anything at all. And its no different legalizing an imported car than any other domestic vehicle, just a bit more paper work an importing documents. My FD is on the road an legal.

Saved the link to the FAQ for FD's so I'll just read it all. Now if anyone wants to leave feedback on my ride or if you know what side skirts I have, feel free to leave your comments.

I think you got flamed because you seem like a total ricer. 2 civics and the handle "street_racer_271", buying a rotary engined RHD car on impulse??

People don't hate the newbies they hate the kind of stuff you are trying to do - "Hey guys, what does this (insert searchable word here) do? P.S. look at what I just bought!!!!". Looking at your cardomain site it looks like you're very concerned with how people perceive your exclusivity via the mad jdm tyte '99 spec front end and its dorifuto pawaa. Rice!

You'd better start reading up on the RX-7 and hopefully you will act responsibly in your RX-7, we don't need transport canada using you as a statistic to ban rhd vehicles here. I'm sorry, I don't mean to hate but I really don't like seeing cars like this get into the hands of people who will just wreck them, neglect them or crash into other people with them. Hopefully you won't do that.

Sorry for asking a question on here. I've kept street racer as my name cause i've had it for so long, Im not a ricer, I don't even street race. its a name. I bought the car cause I've always wanted to own one. And now that I can afford one I bought my dream car. Its fun to drive, an beats the hell out of my civic's.

paradox - thanks for checkin my cardomain site. i don't care if the feedback is negative everyone is entitled to there own opinion

this is useless arguing on a forum

Wow..first, if you think these guys are being argumentive, wait until the regulars start waking up. It's 5AM on the east coast, meaning you've got maybe 4 hours before the "less tactful" of our ilk start coming after you.

Who told you that's a C-West front end? It's not any of the C-West fronts that I know of. It almost looks like an N1, except the N1 has little scoops where the 99spec fog lights would go.

Also, you forgot to list your exhaust mods. On a stock ECU, exhaust mods are infinately more important than intake mods.

How much boost are you running? Do you have a "standalone" ECM or are you using stock? How many miles are on the motor?

A lot of people consider turbo timers to be a waste for these cars. I've heard reports that they can be damaging, because of how much the underhood temps rise when these cars idle.

Also, since you're obviously paying attention to the stickies, take note of the one that says "Post Some Pics of your FD! <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!" at the very top. While most of us mind looking at pics of FDs(I don't think anyone here minds that), if your intent of this thread was to get people to oggle your FD and not to ask questions, then you should be posting pictures in that thread.

Also, no clue what kind of side skirts those are. good luck finding out! The guys at Shine Auto or FDNewbie might know, though.(hint: don't start threads in their vendor section asking what kind of side skirts you have...)

Looks like it could be the Drift front bumper, the side skirts are similar to C-West, and the rear i'm not sure.

It doesn't look like the Drift front bumper to me..

And those side skirts don't look C-West either, unless they are an older, discontinued model

Drift

Side Skirt 2

IMO, His front bumper looks most like an N1

thank you to those that helped, an i was told by someone else that it was a c-west bumper cause he said he knew a lot about RX's, the car has been properly tuned in japan, retuned in BC for Canadian climate, and I'll work on the reliability mods. Since i get **** for asking, ill google the **** out of it. I'm sorry for upsetting some of you, I bought this car so I can learn more about it. I learn much faster with hands on than reading ****. Also the car has 92000kms, an its accurate, records are confirmed. Oil change was done right away. Exhaust light is on, an I think its cause one of the exhaust grounds it worn through. Got new exhaust grounds on the way.

WTF are you talking about? People have been helping and helping and answering the same god damn questions over and over and over and over and over and over since this board was created. If YOU took the initiative instead of being lazy, you could have found all of the answers to all of the questions you had. The people who refuse to help are the people who are fed up with the new members who are too damn lazy to try to find information for themselves.

It could be, it looks a lot like it, but like I said already and posted a picture of, the N1 has air scoops where the 99spec fog lights would go. Unless someone shaved them (which would make little sense), it's probably a knock off, with a twist.

yea i have the whole FAQ saved, so thats been covered.

7 Rocket - I'm in manitoba hour an a half from winnipeg

Paradoxbox - Why is it because of me that they're trying to ban RHD? I have no tickets or anykind of mischif on my record. I have 2 accidents when I was 16, first one was a rainy day an I was driving a friends oldsmobile an bumped a van. Second, a guy ran a red light a t-boned me. I have no speeding tickets, no reckless driving, not even an exhaust ticket, or anykind of driving infraction. Im pissed off too that people are ruining it for us who actually stay out of trouble

thank you, atleast some people understand. I'm sure most of you didn't know much or anything about RX7's when you bought your first one. Anyway, I think I found the side skirts, they were under the name of N-Spec. Anyone ever hear of them or those? Found them on a Japanese site for $650. I think my front bumper is a modified N1, and rear is definatly a chargespeed

About the white rims an no spoiler. I love the way FD's look without spoilers, that was one of the main things I was looking for, an I think the white wheels actually go well with the car, but a bitch to keep clean
