Great car. One more thing though, get some springs and drop the car a bit and it will be greater! I really like it though.

Much appriciated, it's an R1 and i'm kinda hesitant to mess with a pretty darn good package, but im torn between eibachs or just going all out with any of the big name coilovers...

Everything comes back out this week for that, injectors, and a few other fixes and tweaks, then some parts get retouched, and its off to baddog for tuning... Basically the car has been 3 months in the making, with the last 3 weeks being non stop work to make the cleveland autorama. We actually put the side skirts and bumper on at the show, rofl.

I was kinda nervous playing mix and match with my body parts having never seen a 7 with this particular set of pieces, but I think it turned out excellent. The abflug skirts matched right up with the Cwest nose and everyone loves the oodles of CF from the wing/hood/diffuser...

Any plans to fix the headlights? The rest of the exterior looks good.

usually i have something to nit-pick on everyone's car, but that thing is gorgeous. but i do agree it needs to come down about 1.5 inches. a set of h&r's will make a world of difference in handling. i've got a set, but i'm going for a set of tein flex's soon because i need some adjustability for auto-x

Looks nice.

But charge temps? I can't see the IC airflow path being that efficient..

my thoughts exactly. you are basically asking incoming air to make a U turn, which isn't going to happen anywhere near efficiantly. and then there is almost no place for the hot air to go at that angle, it has to make another 90 degree turn to get out the hood vent.

Yeap.

Not to mention the pressure differentials determining what air will really do, as well.

It's going to have a bunch of ducting that isnt in the pictures <from the space above the radiator>. If that doesnt cut the mustard then we'll flip the radiator back and make a vmount out of it.

Nice, but yes. Lower that thing.
Eibachs Sportlines wont take away from the stiffness and will look better.

And put a mesh screen on your Turbo inlet.

How much did that Optima cost? I haven't seen that size sold anywhere. Did you notice a difference in starting, radio, etc. going to that size?

115 shipped as i remember, if you can find the ebay store for optimabatteries4less they have a real website you can order them from anytime, or buy on ebay. Its a group 51 reverse terminals battery <acura integras use them> Honestly, the damn car had to be started 8-10 times to move it in and 8-10 more to move it back out of the show <its got a miss or possibly a stuck apex>. And it had no complaints and started right up.

That car is truly gorgeous. Kudos on everything, you didn't go overboard but you still made it stand out. The only thing that you do need, and I agree with RX187, is to lower it just a bit, it'll be better all around for looks and performance (mainly looks tho )

Maybe I'll pick up a set of Eibachs or something, I dont really want to go real low <our roads suck, and the car looks pretty darn good even stock height>
