Those gauges look familiar =). Are those Boost and Water temp?

I might be selling my Boost and EGT Defi 52mm Black Face gauges JoeD. Would you be willing to make a purchase if in fact i did sell them?

defi 60mm boost and EGT in a pillar, 52mm fuel pressure and water temp in a/c controls spot.

the a/c controls are PERFECT 60mm and when trying to fit 52mm in there right it was a real bitch. it was all ready to go and then i tried to correct one little cosmetic error and it all went to **** from there so it kinda looks all scratched and uneven (shitty) in person and close up.

the a/c controls in glove box were just slapped in there quickly b/c i was doing a lot of stuff all at one time that week:
haltech install
1600cc injectors, pressure regulator, etc
rip out tan interior, put in black interior
install gauges and sensors for them
new stereo head unit (bose speakers didnt work with this head unit so i just hard wired some speakers up temporarily in the back as you can see til i get some speaker mounts from a base or R1 model.
borla XR-1 in midpipe
...i cant remember what else (maybe thats it?)

and then i drove the car back from dallas to colorado that weekend...

i havent recieved shipment yet on the rest of the black interior panels, thats why its still bare in the back part of the car and i havent really decided what im going to do exactly with the a/c controls and stuff and the a/c and water pump belt is disconnected so really i just leave it on setting of 1 so that the fans stay on the engine and dont really mess with it past that.

Holy Jesus... Your engine bay is like one big gay-happy rainbow! Red cup sitting in there (what the **** for may I ask?) Blue tape that also souldn't have Anything to do with your engine bay... Pink, more then enough Yellow.. and if you look closely you'll see that little bit of Green mixed in with all the Yellow. Sorry man but if I was you and some joe blow want's to know what's up with rotary or just wants to see your **** I would be scared to pop the hood.

Just my 02 cents,
Nick

what red cup?? you mean the SX fuel pressure regulator under the UIM?

what blue tape?? are you talking about the silicon connections on the IC pipes? came on the car when i bought it - they work.....why change?

im not seeing the pink either.....
or the green.....
but yes, the vacuum hoses are yellow

i wouldnt be scared at all to pop the hood....what the hell does it matter?

guess youre just a little more cosmetically minded than me

interesting thoughts though.....and i am kinda curious where you found all these colors....

i was in a hurry and really just concerned with getting the gauges into that spot. also, id prefer to have all of the a/c controls in one spot and not to have them all spread out. theyre jsut thrown in there temporarily though. ill probably make a CF panel for them to sit in and move the hazard button back into its regular spot when i go back in to take it back apart and fix some cosmetic problems on that panel where the gauges are now.

I'll chime in here since I was helping Nic out the night the "Gay-happy rainbow" pics were taken. Those pics were taken in the middle of a hose job:

-red cup: you gotta take a **** load of nuts and bolts off the car when you do a hose change and the red cup seems to hold them just fine.

-blue tape: Now it would not be a very good thing to drop something into the lower manifold while you have the upper off no would it?????? So a piece of tape to cover the holes=no problems.

-the little "green things": those would be the check valves that all FD's have, so if those look bad I guess we had all keep our hoods closed then.

- the pink: That would be a rag stuck in the open IC piping and Y-pipe, probably wouldnt be a good thing to drop anything in there either.
