What are the mods supposed to do? It's a public forum. Yes, I advised to search and then left it alone. The info is already available with very little effort vs asking others to spoon feed laziness. If anything, the thread should have been deleted and poster banned hahaha. I kid. Let's all just be happy new engines are still being made and ship from coast to coast in a reasonable time given the broad supply chain issues.

Correct, they've had a part number for quite some time but heritage programs give an avenue to deploy a distribution network and interface to actually get them. Now to get that network over here.

Can you tell them to start making dry sump covers again haha. I had heard a rumor from a former Mazda race team that they might make some more.

I followed up with Ray via phone on FC engine availability and to see if he can chime in here. I understand this is the FD sub-forum, but I'm hoping he can shed some light on things, but this thread has already covered what I originally asked, and then some.

Have there been any conversations about them making 20b's again? I'd imagine if Mazda started making new 20b's, there'd be a decent amount of interest.

whats to chime? Mazda USA doesn't have that part number in the system, Mazda Japan does.

no idea, and there doesn't seem to be any interest anyways. list price is like $14k, plus shipping, again you need to buy from Mazda Japan

I'm not saying that I think it'd happen but I just sold an incomplete 20b for 8500. I think there would certainly be a market if one could actually drop 14k for a factory built 20b.
