New motor mounts..
I just heard about these and thought I share.. Looks pretty slick!!
Its to help lower the engine for those of your using Garfinkle Oil pan brace... and also less vibration from these nylon mounts.. I'm going to install these up for my new set up with the oil pan..

Bit more details about these motor mounts..
Garfinkle welds the weak points on the steel mount and then he opens it up.
His motor mounts require your old arms to be sent in, He told me that he has couple of them are ready so all you have to do is pay for core and he will refund when your arms gets to him.

Here are more picture of the mounts.. It will lower the engine by 3/16th to compensate for his Oil pan brace... Or if you are running 'other' oil pan brace or aftermarket oil pan, he might be able to custom design/length for you.. I think this is a great new idea for our cars!

Have these been tested on a motor with a good amount of power/torque?
Seems to me that the raised area that goes thru the mount, would be a weak point and prone to breaking easily.
Not trying to down play these just interested in their longevity.

I believe he set the price at $200 plus shipping plus your old mounts (mounting arms).
I'll be installing this on my new motor and I'll have pics soon..

I'm curious as to how much vibration they transmit. If they are as hard as the material appears from pics, my guess is significantly. Anyone have a durometer rating?

I'm not sure that the center bolt has actually been tightened in any of those pictures...so I can't draw conclusions as to the durometer. The use of the milled second nylon piece to isolate the bolt from the arm is pretty clever. The same principal as the Noltec design of not having a continuous bolt and those are effective at reducing vibration but still hold things in place. These should work too.
These mounts are very solid. I will directly compare them to the rx7.com diff bushings. I assume they will vibrate a bit. I will install my set soon so i will post my comment.
Two questions:
(1) Why nylon over poly?
(2) What is gained by fitting the nylon puck on top of the arm (requiring the arm to be opened up and also welded) that isn't gained by simply adding a puck under the subframe?
