I like how it's a darker color, not the typical polished tip.

Where did you guys get the material or bends for the tip? I have a 4 inch tip and hate, I would rather have something like this

I have some links on my site where I made my custom exhaust. But maybe its no help because my idea of homemade wasn't just a different tip on a previously made exhaust, in this case Pettit. All you really need is mandrel bent stainless steel pipe in the diameter you want though. Then cut and weld up, down, sideways or whatever. :-)

my brother and i were thinking about making our own exhausts. he got a brochure from burns stainless with all kinds of stainless piping in it. they are known for making some of the highest quality exhaust manifolds like those used on f1 and indy cars. they had some oval piping that was 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall that i was thinking about making an exhaust out off. this might be a bit big, i might just use the 3x1.5 but either way, i really like the idea of using an oval piping setup. just an idea i thought i would throw out there to get flamed. then i would do it anyways, and you would all feel dumb 2 and a half years later. mwahaha

What you need is some 1" x 6" or so stuff to make a servo-operated-bypass straight pipe (like a NASCAR collector) that exits between the wheels someplace.

If it didn't make much more power, it would still be fun for scaring the crap out of people with unmuffled rotary exhaust noise occasionally.
