I don't know about ours but most cars have the oil pickup in the front of the oilpan, right?
Meaning it isn't good to have a car running with the front jacked up like that.

Only ran for about 5 minutes at idle, should be ok.

If you lubed up everything like you should when rebuilding it it will smoke like crasy for the first little while.

It's ok as long as the oil pan is full, otherwise you couldn't drive an FD up a steep hill?

That's the very normal first time start smoke - really gets the neibours!

I fit fine, I'm 6"1 225. The problem I did have is that no way could I fit in there with a helmet on so I got the Corbeau ForzaII and bolted it right to the floor.
Now if I could just solve my clutch problem I could actually drive it!

Okay that was not really the VERY first time I started it, that was the second time after I moved the clutch fork off the clutch and found the oil and water leaks...
